REST API and integrations
A documented REST API, with the rules of the booking form
Everything WBS shows on the web is available to other systems through a documented REST API, version 2, at https://wise-tt.com/api/v2/ - HTTPS only, JSON in UTF-8.
Access
- Integration accounts are issued by Wise Technologies and limited to the institution; a bearer token is valid 24 hours
- Booking on someone's behalf needs that person's own sign-in - every rule of the web applies unchanged: room rights, approval, ownership
- ETags for caching, cross-origin calls only for registered origins, rate-limited sign-in
Booking endpoints

GET /v2/reservation-types | The booking types: id, name, colour, public. |
GET /v2/tutor-rooms | Which rooms a person may book. |
GET /v2/free-busy | The availability check: every date of a pattern, free or taken, with suggestions. |
GET /v2/reservations | Own bookings, or the whole institution's for the booking office; search, filter, paging. |
POST / PUT / DELETE /v2/reservations | Create, change and cancel bookings - the same rules as the form. |
POST /v2/reservations-approve, -deny | The approval decisions, with the letter. |
GET /v2/schedule, GET /v2/event | Everything booked in a range - a room, a person, or the whole institution. |
Refusals that say why
Every refusal carries a code and a sentence: 403 room_not_allowed names the rooms the person may book; 409 overlap returns the clashing dates and the alternatives. The full reference is the Wise REST API manual.
