Where your timetable data lives is a policy decision, not a technical one, and it is yours to make. We support both properly rather than nudging you towards whichever is cheaper for us.
Cloud hosting
Full cloud hosting runs on AWS with daily backups included in the licence. Our infrastructure is distributed across regions so that institutions get local performance rather than a round trip to central Europe — which matters considerably for a student opening a timetable app in the Gulf or in Asia.
Cloud services can be set up within a single day. That is genuinely the fastest part of any implementation; the rest of the timeline is your data and your integrations.

On-premises installation
For institutions with data governance requirements that cloud hosting cannot satisfy, we install entirely on your own infrastructure. Your data remains within your own network, giving you maximum control and compliance flexibility.
This is a fully supported deployment model rather than a reluctant concession. Backend software runs on Windows Server environments, and the same upgrades, support and account management apply.
Information security
Wise Technologies is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for Information Security Management Systems. That means a structured, risk-based approach covering people, processes and technology — the thing procurement departments actually ask to see.
If you are running a formal security review, tell us early. We are used to completing information security questionnaires and can usually turn one around quickly.
