Documentation
The system is designed to be learnable without prior training, but nobody should have to guess. Here is what exists and how to reach a human when it is not enough.
Extensive documentation with worked examples drawn from real university deployments, rather than abstract feature descriptions. Covers data preparation, constraint definition, generation, publishing and maintenance.
Help available online from within the application itself, keyed to the screen you are on. You do not have to know the name of a feature to find out what it does.
Three to five days of hands-on training, delivered online or on site, covering the full workflow. Included in the licence, not a chargeable extra.
A tracked ticketing system, plus email and telephone. Second-line technical issues go straight to the core development team — the people who wrote the code you are asking about.
The graphical interface was built so that an administrator can master the system without a formal course. That is not a claim we make lightly — it is the reason institutions can run Wise Timetable with one person rather than a dedicated team, and the reason our support load stays manageable as we grow.
In practice most institutions take the training anyway, because three days spent with someone who has seen a hundred university timetables saves considerably more than three days later.
Our training team can run through any part of the system online, before or after you buy.
