Wise Timetable is licensed per independent timetable — not per user, not per student, and not per module. What an institution pays is built from a short list of objective parameters, set out in full on this page. Every licence includes all standard modules, all upgrades and full support.

How the licence works
One licence covers one independent timetable. If your university has several faculties that schedule separately, do not share rooms or staff, and publish independently, each of those counts as one licence. Everything inside a single timetable is unlimited.
Under one timetable licence you can manage an unlimited number of programmes, sub-programmes, modules, courses, student groups, lecturers, rooms, buildings and campuses. There is no entity cap and no tier that unlocks more of them.
What differs between one institution and the next is therefore not what the software does. It is what the institution asks the licence to carry — and that, rather than a price list, is what the figure is built from. A small college and a research university are not paying for the same thing, and neither should subsidise the other.
Payment is monthly, semi-annual, or — most commonly — annual for the upcoming academic year.
How the figure is built
Every quotation is assembled from the same parameters, in the same order, for every institution. None of them is a negotiating position; they are the things that actually change what a licence carries.

The lowest figure we publish, and who it is for
Please note that the lowest figure on this page — €90 per month — is the entry price for simple institutions: a small primary school with one site, one timetable, no integrations and nothing asked of hosting beyond our standard cloud. It is what the parameters above come to when very nearly all of them sit at their smallest.
It exists on purpose. Wise Timetable was built for universities, and rather than cut a reduced edition for small schools we let them run the same system at a figure a small school can carry. What that figure is not is the price of a university system, and it is not a discount. A multi-campus university, a medical school with clinical rotations, or an institution working under a formal security and audit regime is quoted from exactly the same parameters and arrives somewhere quite different.
We publish the floor because almost nobody in this market publishes anything at all, and an institution is entitled to know the shape of the commitment before it spends a month in discovery calls. Ask for a quotation and you get a figure, with the parameters it was built from written beside it.
Included in every licence, at every price point
There is no feature tier. The list below is what you get, whatever you pay.
Unlimited users
Desktop clients can be installed without limit, and browser accounts are not counted either. There is no named-user licensing and no concurrent-session cap — and the browser administration is the same licence, not a module.
Hosting or on-premises
Full cloud hosting on AWS with daily backups, or installation on your own infrastructure. Your choice, same price model.
Mobile applications
Native iOS and Android apps, free for your students and staff to download, with push notifications for schedule changes.
Exam scheduling module
Final examination scheduling with seating plans and invigilator assignment. A separately priced product almost everywhere else.
Booking system
Web applications for conflict-free scheduling, room and resource booking, and public display. Included, not an extension.
API and integration
Documented REST API for inbound and outbound connections, plus data import and export via Excel, PDF and file interfaces.
Automatic notifications
Email to lecturers and push notifications in the mobile apps whenever their schedule changes.
Dedicated support
Named account manager, 24-hour response target, online training, and second-line support answered by the development team.
Branding and customisation
Published timetable pages carry your institution's logo, colours and layout, so they read as part of your own website rather than as a third-party tool bolted on. This is included in the licence, not a professional-services line item.
Personalised timetables for individual staff and students, ready for web and mobile, and out-of-the-box integration with calendar applications, are also standard.
Optional modules and services
Two things sit outside the standard licence, because not every institution wants them.

Pricing questions
Do you charge per student?
No. Student numbers influence which price band an institution falls into, because they drive infrastructure and support load, but there is no per-student fee and your bill does not change when enrolment moves.
We are a small institution. Is this cost-effective for us?
Yes, and it is exactly why the entry price exists. A small primary school with one site and one timetable pays the lowest figure we publish and runs the same software a research university runs — there is no cut-down edition and no reduced feature set. What changes with the institution is the list of parameters above, not what the product can do.
Your entry price is far below what we have been quoted elsewhere. What is missing?
Nothing is missing, and that figure is almost certainly not what your institution would pay. €90 a month is the entry point for the simplest case we serve: one small school, one site, one timetable, no integrations. A quotation is built from the parameters above, so an institution with several campuses, a student information system to integrate and an audit regime to satisfy arrives at a very different figure — for the same software, with a great deal more behind it.
We publish the entry price because it is honest to show where the scale starts. We do not publish one number for every institution, because no such number would be true.
What counts as a separate timetable?
A timetable is separate when it is scheduled independently, does not share rooms or staff with your other timetables, and is published on its own. Faculties that share a room pool or teaching staff belong in one timetable, not several — and that is usually cheaper as well as more accurate.
Are there hidden costs?
No setup fee, no per-feature unlock, no charge for upgrades, and no support tier to buy into. The two genuine extras are the attendance module and any custom development you commission, both quoted openly before you commit.
Can we trial it before buying?
Yes. The full desktop application installs free from the Microsoft Store with every feature enabled, and there is a live web demo of the booking system. Ask us for a trial activation key and we set up a private trial database for you. Most institutions also take a tailored online presentation first.
